What do you call this nonsense? (If I Never See Your Face Again- Rihanna ft. Maroon 5)

Hooplah.

The past year and half or so has proven itself extremely difficult. Life's challenges come and go. I understand that. Whoever is upstairs thinks way too highly of me. Then again, I'm quite proud of the challenges I've faced both conquered and lost. I've learned an extremely valuable lesson from them. I don't want to go back and "re-do" my life.

If you haven't been keeping up, I am currently going through a divorce. My husband decided he was interested in someone else. As much as it hurts, I'm glad hes happy. Or at least he claims to be. I feel so much relief. (The Submarines -The Submarines) He did kind of hold me back and I did everything I could to salvage my year and half marriage. I honestly, whole-heartedly wish him the best and that he finds himself on the way.

(Bang- Yeah Yeah Yeahs) Point of this blog is to tell all of you: whats done is done and there is no going back. As hard as it is to let go, its for the best. Best for me. Best for him. Best for everyone around us.

Keep strong.

Side note: the random songs thrown in there in the middle is what was playing while writing this. I don't know its a thing I'm researching on myself.

So Exciting!

How has your first two weeks of the new year been going for you?

Today's victory: Doing what you love!
So as well all know I'm in school and what not. Well, this month on the 23rd we are doing a fashion show! Yes, I'm part of it. No, not a model. I'm doing color <3 I'm so excited I couldn't even begin to describe what's going through my head. I did some color swatching, some wardrobe planning, and just mentally preparing myself. Even met a couple of models, today. Course some of them are my fellow students, but whatever!
What makes this ten times cooler is coming home to the ones you love. That right there just emphasizes that I am doing the right thing. What an awesome feeling, right?!

You are all awesome, loved, and beautiful!

Kicking myself

So, I've been on this negative tangent lately, and yes it does bother me. So, back to being positive. That's what we are going to discuss today.
Today's Victory: Getting back on track.
So the grunt load of the holidays is finally coming to an end. We've all been busy with house hopping and party attending. Time to take a break, yes? No. In fact, its time to go back to work- until next year. New Years is most definitely coming up. You probably have a new calender or planner and started listing your goals for the next year. That's a good thing. Getting organized is actually the first step to reach balance in your life. I'm one that absolutely can't stand schedules I get bored way too easily. So I change it up a bit. Instead of doing work, school, gym, and everything in between in routine, I take advantage of days off and go to the gym in the morning or take Jason on a wagon ride. It keeps things interesting, but I still get done what needs to be done. Be sure you always set time aside for yourself or you can easily go insane or just stop caring and your off track again.
I took two weeks off of school. I went back just yesterday in fact. I was worried that I was so far behind and that I will never catch up. I just hunkered down and got over half of the work done, and all my assignments will be on time!
Speaking of New Year's resolution:
1: Weight Loss. Yes Like everyone else I have this goal. I don't want to be sickly skinny I just want to be healthy.
2:Be Organized!!! Once again, a challenge for me.
3: Conquer my fear of roller coasters. Silly I know.
4: Save to get out of this house!
5: Learn how to trust and love again.

You are all beautiful, awesome, and loved!

P.S. A friend of mine inspired my tag line... okay, so I kind of stole it from him. I don't think he minds though. Thanks Miles!

Another Thanksgiving Post

You know, I don't care who you are, you have something to be thankful for. It may be harder to think on what to be thankful for cause of unfortunate incident after the other. But, there is always a bright side.

Today's victory:
Spending time with my family.
That's a lot coming from me. I'm always busy between school and work and gym and being a mommy. I rarely have time to sit down as a family and enjoy the day. It's nice. I'm really fortunate to have this day off. I wish I can have at least one day a week to do this and not just for a holiday, but, you know how the saying goes... no rest for the weary!

Happy Thanksgiving!

You are all beautiful, awesome, and loved!

First Blog: 'Bout Time

Hello! I'm...obviously, new.
The sole purpose of this blog is to talk about day to day celebrations. Either it be a job promotion or getting the house cleaned.
Today's victory: Be Nice! (even if you have to fake it)
This is a project I had to do at school that I already (unknowingly) implemented in my life. Which is interesting being in that culture how it just kind of... rubbed off on me. There is a girl at school, that at first, I had nothing to do with. I didn't want to get to know her.  I didn't like her lifestyle. I hated the way she dressed. I decided to just be nice to her. Maybe she will leave me alone. I was very wrong. Now, she is one of my nicest friends. I am so glad that being nice actually opened me up to understand another person better versus shutting myself off from opportunities.
I don't wake up everyday with a smile on my face, but I make sure I put one on before I walk in the door at work or school. I need to try and put it on before I walk out of my bedroom.

For the record, I highly recommend the "Be Nice (Or Else!)" book by Winn Claybaugh. Highly inspirational, very motivational. I've already read it three times.

Secondly, I started this so I could follow Hyperbole and A Half. That is all.

You are all beautiful, awesome, and loved
